Jamaicans Encouraged to Visit Heritage Sites

Dr.

Leslie Harrow, Executive Director of the Jamaica National Heritage Trust, is urging citizens to engage more actively with the island's diverse historical landmarks to foster a profound connection with national identity.

This initiative emphasizes the cultural significance of these sites in preserving Jamaica's narrative and ensuring that the legacy of ancestral contributions remains integral to the modern social fabric.

By encouraging both local residents and the diaspora to explore these protected areas, the Trust aims to strengthen communal pride and historical literacy.

Such efforts are viewed as essential for maintaining the integrity of the nation's heritage for future generations.
