Agriculture Ministry Receives $120m Seed Donation From AFJ

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Mining has formally accepted a donation of over 240,000 packets of organic, non-GMO seeds from the American Friends of Jamaica (AFJ).

Valued at approximately $120 million, this initiative aims to bolster national food security by distributing high-quality inputs to small-scale farmers and school garden programs across the island.
